Condolences
Shannon Bernstein Ms April 21, 2011

We truly miss you and hope you have found your peace. I will miss your kindness and sweet spirit. You gave Melissa and Sierra such happiness and I know they gave it to you too. I'm sorry I only knew you a short time, but feel very lucky you were a part of our lives. I was looking forward to all of the crazy family drama and functions ahead of us. Thank you for your friendship. You will forever be in my heart and Ryker will love to hear stories about you when he is older. Thank you for being a part of our family. We love you.

Love, Shannon ("sis-in-law")

To the family and friends of Brian Russell,
Brian’s passing is a tragic loss for us all. He was a great friend and a very kind person. I only knew him for a short while and enjoyed every minute. Whether we were chatting in the garage, barbequing garlic burgers (and everything else, he was a master of the charcoal grill) or hacking up a golf course, we always had a good time. I will miss his calm quiet demeanor, as well as his ability to call it like he saw it. Brian had the unique ability to find and then laugh about the absurdity of any situation. Case in point, we were bombing golf balls into the parking lot (by accident) and when Brian realized his truck was the only vehicle that was in danger of being hit he couldn’t stop laughing. I guess that’s what happens when you know how to fix anything and everything. But most of all I will simply miss the company of my friend. My only regret is that I did not know him longer. Despite the fact that Brian will be sorely missed I can’t help feeling very blessed. Knowing Brian has had an immeasurable impact in my life and made me a better person. For that I am eternally grateful.

Keith, RevaBeth, Layna, Shondra, & Children,

I cannot express enough love and sorrow for your loss. Brian's smile, his dry rhetoric, his genorosity, his acceptance of others, and his deep love for his family will forever live in my memory.

Love, Becky

 Dear Keith,

Please know that your loss is heavy in the hearts of many of us who know you at South Valley UU. We send our love, sympathy, and kind thoughts and prayers. Connee Gates
